Welcome to Fira Santorini photos gallery, Santorini  is a small archipelago of volcanic islands located in the southern Aegean Sea, member of the Cyclades group of islands. The largest island is known as Thēra or Fira, with an area of approximately 73 km2. Both Santorini photos are taken from Thira with the view towards Caldera. Santorini was formerly a single island but after an enormous volcanic explosion the island was destroyed leading to the creation of the current geological caldera.
