Today i will share with you guys an interesting high key black and white portrait.
High key lighting is a style of lighting also used in photography ( originaly used in early film and television ) which intends to reduce the overall contrast of the image. To get even more close to the quintessential high key image, the subject should be fairly flat lit ( the presence of deep shadows is out of question ) and usually the background is white.
So how can you get this kind of high key portraits? You either use multiple light sources lighting a scene ( soft lights ) or you can take advantage of the bounced light of the sun - just like in my example.
Hope you will enjoy it, have a nice Saturday.
