Black and white photography has a particular strength that resides in its powerful contrast between black and white.
When I first saw this beautiful image, the position of the surfer was the first thing that caught my attention. When you start studying the image you realize that the water adds even more drama to the image. But what really makes this black and white surf photo amazing is the contrast between the surfer (wearing black) and the white water droplets.
